The park is well kept and nice. Duck park is cool with a lot of geese as well. For the falls, they weren't in operation when we visited now. Not sure how much of a norm that is but oh well, it was a …Full review by matthewsV6996WM

The falls had no water, was a waste of time. Beautiful park otherwise looked like a nice place to let the kids play. Just need to add water!Full review by Jerald H

We drove by on a Sunday and access/parking at the top of the falls was closed. However, we drove around again and my husband dropped me off and I was able to get several great photos of the falls. We did notice a small parking area on the side which could accommodate two cars. Now I’m talking about accessing the falls alone as we were just passing through the area. There were other people there who accessed the falls from a trail that came from the park. I would think the park would have numerous parking places. Hopefully a local will answer the specifics about access, but this is what we experienced as we passed through Wichita Falls.
Do you have motorized scooters for handicap access?

Hi Tamara, I have been to the Falls several times, most recently in October. Lucy Park is quite a nice walk out to the falls, but I did not see any motorized wheelchairs to rent. I think it’s worthwhile to see the falls, but be aware that some days the water going to the falls is shut down. I called the number for Lucy Park 940-761-7490. It was a recording, I left a message concerning the motorized wheelchairs but have not received a call back yet. My thought is for you to rent a motorized wheelchair from a private vendor before going out there. Gold Cross Medical Supply on 3006 Midwestern Parkway advertises that they rent scooters. I hope you enjoy the falls, I have many nice photos from there. Best, Tim
Sorry to learn that the Falls closed @ 5pm (that was my arrival time in Wichita Falls! & I must leave very early in the morning. Disappointing as Water Falls are primary on my extended road trip.

The park is very large and it does not cost anything to get in. There are several walking paths, play areas for children, and water areas with wild life. You are able to drive around to find an area you like best. My son lives there right now and says the falls have been off most of the time, probably when the water is low at there one lake which is the source. However, it is a nice place to walk and we were there on the weekend.
