The full Moon November 2024 is known as the Beaver Moon since beavers begin to build their dams before the ground freezes. This is a time when many have to prepare for winter, and when some of the first snow falls in the northern United States and Canada happen. It’s a time when most trees and shrubs have shed their leaves.

Not only is it a supermoon, meaning our lunar satellite will be slightly brighter and closer, but it's the last supermoon we'll see for a long time.
