Tom Brady and the Patriots closed out a lot of Super Bowls in winning fashion. But starting them? Not so much.

Tom Brady revealed what last-minute installation helped New England score twice in its Super Bowl XLIX win over Seattle.

The Patriots are on track in their continued efforts to rebuild the team. They hired Mike Vrabel as the new head coach and lead visionary on the journey. The combination of Maye and Vrabel could be the building blocks for an eventual return to prominence for the once-great organization.

Drake Maye’s rookie season was undeniably promising. The 22-year-old out of North Carolina completed 66.6% of his passes for 2276 yards in 12 games, tossing 15 touchdowns to 10 interceptions with a lackluster supporting cast. Maye also ran for 421 yards and 22 first downs, and was a late addition to the Pro Bowl games.

Drake Maye: "I think the biggest thing is he's been a head coach, and he knows what it's like. So (I'm) excited to get up to New England and get things going."
