Major airlines are offering waivers as two winter storms are forecast to dump snow across the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic this week.

As airlines continue to assess the impact of Winter Storm Harlow, additional waivers and schedule modifications may be announced in the coming hours.

Heavy snow, freezing rain and temperatures as much as 35 degrees below seasonal averages are set to hit large parts of the United States as a string of storms confirm that winter is far from over.

The storm is expected to disrupt travel across major highways and interstates, making conditions treacherous for drivers.
