Venezuela has brought home nearly 200 undocumented migrants from the United States, even as the UN warned there should be no forced returns to the troubled Caribbean country.

The flights, which left Fort Bliss in Texas, represent a significant victory for President Trump, who has vowed to carry out sweeping deportations.

The undocumented Venezuelans were on their way home, a foreign ministry statement said Monday, after President Nicolas Maduro agreed with a visiting Trump envoy to accept the return of the deported migrants and offered to provide the transport.

Two planes sent by Venezuela returned to the country from El Paso, Texas, on Monday with nearly 200 Venezuelans who were in the U.S. illegally.
