Severe storms are expected in Alabama tonight. A Level 3 out of 5 or enhanced risk has been expanded to cover nearly all of the state in the Saturday night update from the Storm Prediction Center. A storm threat over the weekend brings the chance for severe overnight weather, including the risk of tornadoes, strong winds and flooding.

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a Tornado Watch for Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, Morgan counties through 4 a.

Auburn’s run followed Alabama (21-4, 10-2 SEC) getting the score to 35-33, but being unable to affect the scoring column any further. The visitors used the cushion to race to a double-digit advantage in the second half’s early going, leading 55-41 with 15:45 to play.
