Vivek Ramaswamy is ready to launch his much-promised bid for the Ohio governorship, which he was rumored to be planning since before Trump's inauguration.

Vivek Ramaswamy's campaign filed a Designation of Treasurer form with Ohio's Secretary of State on Friday, Fox News Digital found. His campaign has not been formally announced yet.

Ramaswamy plans to formally kick off his campaign later this month with stops around the state including in Ohio.

The former presidential candidate has already racked up endorsements from two sitting Republican statewide officials: Secretary of State Frank LaRose and Treasurer Robert Sprague.

Ramaswamy will enter a GOP primary to succeed term-limited Gov. Mike DeWine that's already been joined by Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost and Heather Hill.
