For years, New York has been plagued with anonymous sources and finger-pointing from the front office to the coaching staff to the locker room. Along the way, a series of inexperienced executives haven't helped solidify a roster that has failed to reach the playoffs for the last 14 years.

With Darren Mougey the new General Manager in New York, the Jets roster could have a new look for the 2025 season. While it’s too early to tell what their strategy will be when free agency begins on March 10, Mougey will most likely try and recruit a few players from his former team, the Denver Broncos, where he was the Assistant GM.

The Jets have not had much change in those areas through the years despite their 14-year playoff drought and four different GMs in that time.
